Biography

Paolo Devid (Paolo David Puglia) is an Italian-born artist based in Canton Ticino.

A singer-songwriter and pianist, he discovered his passion for music at the age of nine, inspired by his grandfather Riccardo, a harmonica and clarinet player in the local town band in Emilia.

He began playing piano by ear on an instrument gifted by his father Enzo, who later encouraged him to pursue formal music education. He studied piano, guitar and voice, shaping an artistic path that blends instinct, deep listening and personal exploration, while continuing his professional career as a surveyor.

In 2002, he performed with the band IrmaVep in Reggio Emilia during a concert by Ligabue. Over the following years, he collaborated with various musicians and performed in different line-ups, exploring pop, rock and blues.

In 2012, he became a member of the American Global Songwriter Connection, further developing his contemporary pop songwriting skills.

In 2020, after years of study and inner research, he embraced a holistic musical vision. He completed a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and began composing in 432 Hz, creating music and lyrics focused on harmony and inner well-being, released through the independent label Kali Music.
