Paolo Devid (Paolo David Puglia) is an artist of Italian origin living in Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
A composer and singer-songwriter, he has cultivated a passion for music since the age of 9, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Riccardo, a musician and clarinetist in a village band in Emilia.
He took his first steps by playing by ear on a piano purchased by his father Enzo, who later enrolled him in music school, marking the beginning of an artistic journey shaped by instinct, attentive listening, and personal exploration. He studied piano, guitar, and voice, combining his musical path with professional work as a surveyor.
In 2002, he performed with the band IrmaVep in Reggio Emilia during a concert by Ligabue. In the years that followed, he collaborated with various musicians and bands, exploring rock, pop and blues. In 2012, he joined the American Global Songwriter Connection, further developing his approach to modern pop songwriting.
In 2020, after years of research and study, he embraced a holistic musical approach: he completed a master’s degree in Music Therapy and began composing also at 432 Hz, creating melodies oriented toward interior harmony and well-being, released through the independent record label Kali Music.
"For me, songwriting is the magic and art of giving voice to silence."
